Sandhill dunnart

Sminthopsis psammophila, in English under the name Sandhill dunnart ( "Sand Dune Schmalfuß bag mouse " ), is a Beutelsäugerart from the kind of Schmalfuß Bag mice, which is endemic to Australia. It has not yet recognized German name.

Sminthopsis psammophila counts with a total length 110-128 mm, with 22 to 26 millimeters relate to the tail, the largest species of its genus. The weight varies 26-40 grams. The fur color varies from gray to yellow on the back brown, the belly is white, however.
