Sandtown (Georgia)

Sandtown in Georgia is a predominantly inhabited by African-Americans place southwest of Atlanta, Georgia. Within the environment of Atlanta, this place is one of the wealthier most direct with African-American residents. The majority of the population belongs to the middle and upper classes. During the time of the Underground Railway Station, this place was for many of the escaped slaves on their way to the northern states. The famous flight assistant Harriet Tubman used multiple contacts they had in this place.

Sandtown was originally one of the largest Indian villages in the area in which Atlanta should develop.
