Sandy & Papo

Sandy y Papo is a merengue hip- hop band from Sandy "Sandy MC" Carriello and Luis " Papo MC" Deschamps from Santo Domingo. Both lived since the early 1990s in New York. With their songs they reached in many Latin American gold and platinum awards. Also in Latin Clubs of North America and Europe, they made a name for himself. After Papos death on July 11, 1999, Sandy MC tried with less success as a solo artist. His first album Homenaje a Papo is a " dedication to Papo ".
