Sang Khom District
Amphoe Sang Khom ( Thai: อำเภอ สร้างคอม ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Udon Thani. The Udon Thani Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.
Geography
Neighboring districts are (from south-east clockwise): Amphoe Ban Dung and the Phen in the province of Udon Thani, and Amphoe Phon Phisai Nong Khai province.
History
Sang Khom was born on May 15, 1075 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the three Tambon Sang Khom, Ban Chiang Yuat and have since separated from Amphoe Phen. On 21 May 1990 he was promoted to Amphoe ..
Administrative units
Amphoe Sang Khom is ( tambon) divided into six municipalities, which in turn in 53 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
There are four small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Sang Khom ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สร้างคอม ), consisting of the entire Tambon Sang Khom.
