Sangmélima
Province
Sangmélima is a city in Cameroon in the region Sud. It is with about 64,000 inhabitants, is the capital city of the Dja -et- Lobo.
Geography
Sangmélima is located in the south of Cameroon, about 643 meters above sea level. 50 km east of the city begins the 5300 square kilometer Dja Wildlife Reserve, which was established in 1984 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Traffic
Sangmélima is located on the National Road N9, also begins the road Proven prosecuted ex P7 there. Near the town there is a landing strip for airplanes.
Religion
Sangmélima is the seat of the diocese Sangmélima.
