Sanharib Malki Sabah (Arabic سنحاريب ملكي صباح, DMG Sanharib Malki Sabah, born March 1, 1984 in Qamishli, Syria ) is a Turkish- Syrian soccer player Aramaic / Assyrian origin. After his move to Kasımpaşa he received Turkish citizenship and thus occupied a foreigner quota in the Turkish leagues. As Sabah is the son of a Turkish mother, Sabah had a right to be a Turkish citizen. With the Turkish nationality, he had to also accept a Turkish surname and so received the name Sanharib Büyüksal.

Career

In the club

Malki played in the Youth for Royale Union Saint -Gilloise where the striker finally played in the squad for the first team. From there he moved after 9 goals in 16 games in the KNVB -League, in the winter break of 2005/ 06 in the Jupiler League for KSV Roeselare for a transfer fee of 15,000 euros. Here he remained one year and then was in January 2007 further transferred to Germinal Beerschot Antwerp. Under coach Harm van Veldhoven here he had his most successful season with 16 goals in the league, the team reached the semi-finals in the Cup competition. In August 2009 he moved to league rivals SC Lokeren. In the second half of 2010/11 Panthrakikos was loaned to the Greek club. For the season 2011/12 he moved to the Netherlands to Roda JC Kerkrade in the meantime, his former coach Antwerp van Veldhoven worked.

For Summer 2013, he joined the Turkish Süper Lig on Kasımpaşa Istanbul.

In the National Team

Malki has beside the Syrian Belgian citizenship. Nevertheless, he decided to play for Syria. His debut, he played on 8 June 2008 in the World Cup qualifiers against Kuwait in 2010. In his third match, he scored his first goal in the same competition, against the United Arab Emirates.
