Sani Kaita

Sani Kaita ( born May 2, 1986 in Kano ) is a Nigerian football player. The Nigerian international is currently on loan at Iraklis Thessaloniki under contract.

Club career

The defensive midfielder joined the 2005/06 season from his home, where he played for Kano Pillars to Sparta Rotterdam. Even though he was only three years reserve player at the Dutch first division, he moved in 2008 to the established French club AS Monaco.

There denied in the first half of the 2008/09 season only three league inserts, which caused him to leave the club at the start of 2009 on loan towards FK Kuban Krasnodar. In the Russian club he could play immediately in the starting eleven.

However, he left the fighting to avoid relegation club in the summer of 2009, to join on loan to league rival Lokomotiv Moscow. National team career

With the Nigerian U -20 team Kaita reached the final of the Junior World Championship, where Nigeria lost 1:2 against Argentina in 2005. Kaita came in all seven games of the tournament are used.
