History

In December 1917, the business Charlie G. Fichardt, Willie A. Hofmeyr, Charlie R. Louw, Pieter A. Malan, Fred H. Dormehl, Antoon F. Benning ( all South Africans ) and the Scot Alfred McDowell met in Cape Town to the to discuss establishing an insurance company. 20th century
