Sanofi-Synthélabo
The company Sanofi Synthelabo ~ was a French pharmaceutical company.
It was formed in 1999 from the merger of Sanofi (previously part of the oil company Elf Aquitaine ) and Synthelabo, which belonged to cosmetics group L' Oréal.
In 2004 the company took over the competitors Aventis. The new group name is since sanofi -aventis.
