Santa Maria Ausiliatrice, Rome

The Basilica di Santa Mary Help of Christians (Basilica of Mary Help of Christians ) is a Roman Catholic parish church and school in the Roman district Tuscolano. The 1931-1936 built as a church of the adjacent Salesian school complex neoclassical basilica by Pope Paul VI. elevated to the title diakonia and on 1 April 1969 on the Minor Basilica on June 7, 1967.

Architecture

The three-nave church has a cruciform plan with an octagonal central tower and choir -closing round. The portal facade is flanked by two bell towers. Classicizing columns, pediments and architraves divided the structure.
