Santa Ninfa
Santa Ninfa is a town in the province of Trapani in Sicily region of Italy with 5073 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).
Location and data
The community is located 50 km south-east of Trapani at an altitude of 410 m. The municipality covers an area of 63 km ². The main occupation of the inhabitants is agriculture.
The neighboring municipalities are Calatafimi Segesta, Castelvetrano, Gibellina, Part Anna, Salaparuta and Salemi.
History
The community was founded in 1605. The earthquake in 1968, the church was destroyed. The inhabitants built the church in part to the old place and partially just south again.
