Santa Rosa Department, Mendoza

The department of Santa Rosa ( Mendoza) is located in the center of the province of Mendoza in western Argentina and is one of 18 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the north by the departments of Lavalle and San Martín, on the east by the department of La Paz, on the south by the Departamento San Rafael and to the west by the departments of San Carlos, Rivadavia and Junín.

The capital of Santa Rosa (Mendoza ) is the same Santa Rosa. It is located 975 km away from Buenos Aires.
