Santana (Band)
The group Santana, also known as the Santana Blues Band, is a very embossed in their personnel composition of exchange group that played since the end of the 1960s with guitarist and singer Carlos Santana and along with it the spread of Latin Rock has been earned.
The band was founded in San Francisco by 1969, the first formation belonged to Tom Frazier (guitar), Mike Carabello ( percussion), Rod Harper ( drums), Gus Rodriguez (bass guitar) and Gregg Rolie (organ, vocals). In subsequent years, the composition of the group has very often and fundamentally changed from 1971 to 1972, there was also briefly a separation between Santana and the band.
Only rarely took Carlos Santana himself on vocals. Most sang other band members. So on Black Magic Woman from their second album Abraxas, one of the most famous pieces of the group to hear a singer keyboardist Gregg Rolie.
