Santana do Paraíso is a city in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. It lies on the Rio Doce, about 950 km from the capital Brasília. In July 2009, lived in Santana do Paraíso 24 695 people around 275.5 km ², it is the smallest of the four cities of the Vale do Aço region, which has a population of almost half a million.
