Santeri Alatalo
Santeri Alatalo (born 9 May 1990 in Tampere ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player with Swiss license, which is under contract with EV train in the National League A since 2013. His father Matti Alatalo was also active hockey player and now works as a coach.
Career
Alatalo stood as a junior player for JYP on the ice before 2007 he moved to Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho. For this, the Finnish defenders initially completed a few games in the junior leagues. During the 2008/09 season he made his debut in the SM- liiga, where Alatalo played four games in the top Finnish league until the end of the season. The majority of the time of this and the following season, but spent the links Sagittarius in the U20 team of Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho and did some further games as Players out on loan in the Mestis.
In the season 2010/11 the defensive player made the breakthrough in the SM- liiga, as Alatalo in 59 games of the regular season was on the ice and scored ten points scorer. In October 2012, he was hired by the HC Davos of the National League A, the foreigner quota he not be charged due to a Swiss license. For the Grisons the defender was also in December 2012 during the traditional Spengler Cup in use.
From the 2013/14 season played Alatalo for the EV train from the National League A.
