Santi Suk District

Amphoe Santi Suk ( Thai: อำเภอ สันติสุข ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the middle of the province of Nan. The Nan Province is located in the northeast of the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Adjacent are clockwise from the North: Amphoe Tha Wang Pha, the, Pua, Bo Kluea, Mae Charim, Phu Phiang and Mueang Nan. All counties are located in the province of Nan.

History

Santi Suk was on 15 June 1981 as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the two tambon You Phong and Pa IAEA Luang Amphoe Mueang Nan were separated from. On April 21, 1983, the third Tambon Phong was added, which had been separated from Amphoe Mae Charim. On July 4, 1994 Santi Suk has been promoted to Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Santi Suk is divided into three subdistricts ( tambon) divided, which in turn divide into 31 villages ( Muban ).

There are also three " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
