Santiago Ezquerro Marín ( born December 14, 1976 in Calahorra, La Rioja ) is a former Spanish footballer.

Association

Ezquerros first big club was the CA Osasuna. About Atlético Madrid and the island club RCD Mallorca striker came the 1998 Athletic Bilbao. In Bilbao, he completed on 12 August 1998 his first game in the UEFA Champions League ( against Dinamo Tbilisi ). Quick the agile and strong dribbling striker was an indispensable part of the starting eleven. His personal best season he graduated in 2004 / 05, when he was able to achieve five goals, among others, in seven UEFA Cup matches. He was then obliged free transfer from FC Barcelona.

Since Ezquerro not it past Barcelona in a reserve role, he moved to the end of July 2008 CA Osasuna, where he ended his career in 2009.

National

Its so far the only game in the Spanish national team Ezquerro completed on 5 September 1998 in qualifying for Euro 2000 against Cyprus (2:3).
