Santino Solari
Santino Solari ( * 1576 in Verna in Lanzo d' Intelvi (Italy ), † April 10, 1646 in Salzburg) was a builder, architect and sculptor of a much branched Comasken family.
He was appointed in 1612 by the Archbishop of Salzburg, Markus Sittikus von Hohenems of Seckau (Styria ) as court architect to Salzburg and brought under his influence, the northern Italian early Baroque to the present-day Austrian area. His grave is located at the Salzburg St. Peter's Cemetery.
