Santorini Airport (Greek Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Σαντορίνης Kratikos Aerolimenas Santorini ) is a Greek airport in the south east of the Cyclades island of Thira, close to the coast at Monolithos and Kamari, about five kilometers from the main town of Fira. As a destination Thira is recorded in air traffic mostly.

The airport is used by the military and, since 1972, also civil. It has an illuminated front with parking for six aircraft and a 1989 -built terminal building. In the airport building there are travel agencies, small restaurants, car rentals and airline offices. There is also the possibility for tax-free shopping.

In addition to the active start and runway 16L/34R is located west of the railway 16R/34L, which is however closed and is only used as a taxiway.

The bus company KTEL Thira ( ΚΤΕΛ Θήρας ) has engaged the airport in its route network. There are regular connections to the larger places.

Flights

The airport is the primary objective of the national airlines Olympic Air and Aegean Airlines. During the tourist season there are many charter flights to and from Northern, Western and Central Europe.
