Sapphaya District

Amphoe Sapphaya ( Thai: อำเภอ สรรพยา ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the eastern part of the province ( Changwat ) Chainat. The Chainat Province is located in the northern part of the central region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts ( from the southwest clockwise): Amphoe the Sankhaburi, Mueang Chainat Chainat Province, Amphoe Takhli of Nakhon Sawan and Amphoe In Buri Province Sing Buri.

Management

Amphoe Sapphaya is ( tambon) divided into seven municipalities, which in turn in 55 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are three small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Sapphaya ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สรรพยา ), consisting of parts of the tambon Sapphaya,
  • Pho Nang Dam ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล โพ นางดำ ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Pho Nang Dam Tok,
  • Bang Luang ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บาง หลวง ), consisting of the whole tambon Bang Luang,

There are also six administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
