Sara Gran

Sara Gran (born 1971 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American ( crime ) writer.

Before she worked as a full time writer, she worked in a variety of professions, all of which had to do with books. She has written several novels that have not been translated into German, but were filmed in part, eg Dope with Julianne Moore in the lead role. With The City of the Dead: A Case for the best detective in the world, she launched a crime series that has won numerous awards and was well received in the press. After many travels, she now lives in California.
