Sara Hector

Sara Hector (* 4 September 1992 in Sandviken ) is a Swedish alpine skier. Your strongest discipline of giant slalom.

Biography

Hector played their first FIS race in December 2007. During the 2008 /09 season she had her first stakes in the European Cup, but was not in any of their six races in the points. In February 2009, it reached at the European Youth Olympic Festival in fourth place in the giant slalom, but at the Junior World Championships in Garmisch -Partenkirchen in early March she came only on 28th place.

At the start of the European Cup season 2009/10 Hector reached surprising second place in the giant slalom in Funäsdalen and a week later, she was third in the giant slalom in Kvitfjell. Then, the 17- year-old came on 12 December 2009 at the giant slalom at Åre their debut in the World Cup and clinched third place, 22 at first their first World Cup points. At the Junior World Championship 2010, she won the bronze medal in the slalom.

Their first victory in the European Cup celebrated Hector on 20 December 2010 in the giant slalom in Limone Piemonte. At the Junior World Championships 2011 in Crans -Montana, she won the giant slalom. A month later she won at the World Championships 2011 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen with the Swedish team the bronze medal in the team competition, without having it denied a run themselves. My best ever World Cup result they achieved on 11 March 2011 as the 16th of the giant slalom in Spindleruv Mlyn.
