Sarah Ann Island

Sarah Ann is the name of a phantom island which was sighted in the vicinity of Easter Island and listed on various charts.

Since the coordinates of the island in the area of the total solar eclipse of June 8, 1937 would be 1932 several ships of the Pacific Fleet of the U.S. Navy searched for a few weeks after Sarah Ann. Since they were unsuccessful, the island was removed from the charts of 1932.
