Sarah Chalke

Sarah Louise Christine Chalke ( born August 27, 1976 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian actress partly German descent. She became known for the television series Roseanne and Scrubs -.

Life

Sarah Chalke grew up in Vancouver as the second of three daughters to her parents Angie and Doug Chalke. Her mother is German, born in Peez, a district of Rostock, where the entire family emigrated in 1952. Chalke maintains contact with her ​​German relatives and visited as a child twice a week the German school in her hometown. She speaks fluent German and French, therefore, what eventually applied to their role in Scrubs. Since 2008, she has the American citizenship.

Acting Career

Chalke began her acting career in the 1992 TV movie City Boy.
