Sarah Engels

Sarah Engels (born 15 October 1992 in Cologne; civil Sarah Lombardi ) is a German pop singer. It was as a participant in the talent show Germany seeks the superstar known as she took in the eighth season in second place in 2011.

Private life

Sarah Engels spent her childhood with her parents and her younger brother in Hürth. From the age of eleven, she performed at the school and street festivals. Engels took four years singing lessons. The already announced by the final American Idol duet with Pietro Lombardi appeared on 27 May 2011 on his debut album Jackpot. On June 17, 2011 they released their second single, I Miss You, a duet with Pietro Lombardi. The single reached number 2 in the German, Austrian and place 6 in the number 14 in the Swiss Singles Chart.

Their debut album, Heart Beat was released on June 24, 2011. The album includes the debut single Call My Name and her four so-called highlight songs from the American Idol Season (Run by Snow Patrol, Hurt by Christina Aguilera, One Day in Your Life by Anastacia and I'm so Excited by The Pointer Sisters). The remaining eight tracks on the album were written by Dieter Bohlen. The album reached number 2 in the German, Austrian and # 5 on the 13th of the Swiss album charts. The third single of the title Only for You was released on 2 September 2011. The single reached number 33 of the German and the Austrian Singles Chart number 47. From November to December 2011, she was with Pietro Lombardi on tour in Germany, then joined the two as guests at Night of the Dance on. In summer 2012, Sarah Engels had seen in the RTL reality show Star Race.

Her second album, a duet album with her husband Pietro Lombardi, called Dream Team and was released on March 22, 2013. Just a week before the title track was released as a single.
