Sarah Hendrickson
Sarah Hendrickson ( born August 1, 1994 Salt Lake City ) is an American ski jumper.
Career
Hendrickson is seen in the Continental since 16 February 2008. At the Junior World Championship 2008 in Zakopane, she took the 16th place. She won her first Continentalcupspringen 2009 in Zakopane. In the first Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec for the women they came in 29th place. In the summer of 2009 she took second place in Lillehammer. In their second Junior World Championships in Hinterzarten 2010 she won the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships 2011 in Otepaeae they came in 18th place. In its second Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo, she took the 16th place. On 3 December 2011, she made her debut in the first World Cup competition of women in Lillehammer, Norway, which she won sovereign. Thanks to their numerous other victories this season, she was at the end also first overall World Cup winner of the ladies.
On February 22, 2013, Hendrickson secured in Val di Fiemme first World Cup title. In the same season, Hendrickson secured the victory in the first women's World Cup on a big hill at the World Cup final on traditional Holmenkollen in Oslo. On August 21, 2013 Hendrickson crashed heavily during a training jump in Oberstdorf. In the first newspaper reports, there was talk that the world champion of 2013 at the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi can not or will compete only with great training deficit. In January it was announced that Hendrickson is planning her comeback at the Olympics in Sochi.
