Saras S.p.A.

Sara is an Italian energy company with legal headquarters in Sarroch, Sardinia, and operational headquarters in Milan.

Sara has worked in the oil industry, and further in the energy supply in Italy. The company was founded in 1962 by Angelo Moratti and is mainly active in Italy and Spain. Majority shareholder with a 62.461 percent Angelo Moratti SapA, the family holding company of the Moratti family, which also includes Massimo Moratti, the founder's son heard. The shares of Saras SpA are listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.

The group of companies employs approximately 1,900 people and reported 2007 global revenues of 6.664 billion euros.
