Sarcee language

Sarcee (also Tsuut'ina, Sarsi, Tsuu T'ina, Tsu T'ina ) belongs to the Athabaskan language family, which includes southern Navajo and Bedonkohe and northern Dene Suline and Dogrib.

Tsuu T'ina The name comes from the self-designation of Native American people of the Sarcee, Tsúùt'ínà, which is sometimes translated as " many people ", " pedigree " or " people under the beavers ." However, all these derivations are unlikely; the origin of the name is unknown. The language that is currently in the extinction understood (as of 2006) and is spoken only by a few dozen elderly tribal members. There are efforts to keep them alive.
