Särkänniemi

Särkänniemi [ ˌ særkæn Niemi ] is a peninsula in Tampere, Finland. On it there is a same name ( often colloquially Särkkis or Särkkä called ) Amusement Park. It was opened in 1975 and is owned by the city of Tampere. Its attractions include next six roller coasters ( including the 25 meter high tornado and three water rides ) an aquarium, a planetarium and a small zoo. In addition, the park is home to the northernmost dolphinarium in the world and are located on the grounds of the observation tower Näsinneula and the Sara Hildén Art Museum. Every year about 600,000 people Särkänniemi, of which 500,000 during the summer season.
