Sarmiento Department, San Juan

The department Sarmiento (San Juan ) is located south of San Juan province in western Argentina is one of 19 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the north by the departments Zonda, Pocito and Rawson, on the east by the Veinticinco de Mayo, on the south by the province of Mendoza and the west by the Departamento Calingasta.

The capital of the department Sarmiento (San Juan ) is Villa Media Agua.
