The Sartang (Russian Сартанг ) is the 620 km long, right or eastern source river of Jana in Siberia (northern Russia, Asia ).
Course
The river arises in the Verkhoyansk Mountains. Near its headwaters the mountains to 2,295 m tower on high. From its source the Sartang flows north to Barylas to further unite north between the Verkhoyansk Mountains in the west and in the east Tscherskigebirge only slightly above the Verkhoyansk Dulgalach to Jana.
The scenery at Sartang is dominated by boreal forests (taiga ).
