Saša Papac

Saša Papac ( born February 7, 1980 in Mostar ) is a former Bosnian Herzegovinian footballer.

Career

Association

Papac began his career at NK Široki Brijeg. For the season 2001 /02 he moved to FC Kärnten. For the 2004/ 05 season he was loaned from FK Austria Wien and firmly committed after the season. With Austria Wien in 2006, he was Austrian champion and cup winner and thus won the Double. A year earlier, the team also won the Cup. In 2006 he moved to Glasgow Rangers. With Rangers he won the Scottish Cup in 2008.

On 14 May 2008 he lost with the Glasgow Rangers UEFA Cup Final against Zenit St. Petersburg at the City of Manchester Stadium 0-2.

On August 27, 2012 Papac announced end of his career due to health reasons.

National

October 11, 2002 Papac made ​​his debut in Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team. In the game against Germany he was in the starting lineup.
