Sascha Amstätter

Sascha Amstätter ( born November 8, 1977 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German football player.

Career

Amstätter played in the youth from 1983 to 1988 in Germania Ginn Home, 1988-1991 Viktoria Preußen Frankfurt and from 1991 to 1994, Kickers Offenbach, before he found shelter at FSV Frankfurt. In 1997 he moved to local rivals Eintracht, with whom he came three times in the 1997/98 season in the second division are used. After the rise of Eintracht he was - after he had fought for his place with an injunction - the Bundesliga squad of Frankfurt, but was allowed to accumulate in the 1998/99 season only twice in the first league. For the following season moved Amstätter for KFC Uerdingen 05, a year later he was active for the first time SV labor. For half a year he went into the second half of the 2001/02 season for SV Darmstadt 98, but returned to the SV labor. In November 2006 Amstätter suffered a hamstring injury in the foot, which put him out of action for six months. He made his comeback in a 1-0 victory against Stuttgarter Kickers on 5 May 2007. During his nine years at the Taunus Steinem he was playmaker and leading figure of the team, despite frequent injuries to 2009 was also captain of the team and scored in 232 official matches in the second division, third division and the Regional 24 goals. However, in the 2009/10 season he was only four times in the third division team to use and mostly played in the second team. At the end of the season there were between Amstätter and the Association for the duration of his contract a dispute, which was settled out of court. The contract ended retroactive to 30 June 2010.

In August 2010 Amstätter moved back to SV Darmstadt 98 in the Regionalliga Süd, which he achieved promotion to the third division.

Since July 2012 Amstätter acts as player-coach at SV Wiesbaden 1899. With the club he won in the 2012 /13 championship of the fifth division and rose to the Hessen League.
