Sascha Dum

Sascha Dum (2013 )

Sascha Dum ( born July 3, 1986 in Leverkusen ) is a German football player. His father Manfred Dum himself was a professional footballer and played in the 2nd Bundesliga 198 games for 1.FC Saarbrücken, Union Solingen and SC Freiburg.

Career

After his youth at HSV Langenfeld Sascha Dum moved in 1996 to Bayer 04 Leverkusen. For the second half of 2005/ 06 he was loaned to the then second division Alemannia Aachen. After the rise of Aachen he came in the following season in the 1st Bundesliga 22 times used.

Dum returned early in the season 2007/ 08 back to Leverkusen. There he played in half of the season games for the Bundesliga team and came four times in the UEFA Cup for use, but has been used several times in the league team.

End of August 2009, he moved on loan to second division side Energie Cottbus. His first game for the Lausitz was on 28 August 2009 in a 2-0 victory at the TuS Koblenz. For the 2010/11 season Dum moved to Fortuna Dusseldorf, where he signed a two -year contract. After promotion to the 1st Bundesliga Dum left the club when his contract expires after the season 2011/12.

End of January 2013 undertook the second division MSV Duisburg Dum. He signed up to the end of the season 2012/13 with an option to extend. After the termination, and relegation from the second division of MSV Dum remained loyal to the club in the following third league season.
