The Sasseneire is a 3'254 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It lies between the two valleys Val d' Anniviers with the valley town of Grimentz and the Val d' Hérens with the valley town of Evolène. At the foot of the north face of a mule track over the Pas de Lona at Lac de Lona passes.
