Satan s'amuse is a French short film by Segundo de Chomón from 1907. The film was made by the French film company Pathé Frères.

Action

The devil is quite bored in his kingdom and for this reason he begins to perform some magic tricks with his servants. He leaves two servants from the fire rise and performs the classic magic trick of Floating Virgin and lets them disappear in the fire. With a jug of wine he wants to perform his next trick, but a naughty servant would disturb him while he sells before it filled next few bottles with a sulfurous fluid. There are, finally, to see three servants in the bottles that are suddenly spirited away by a cheeky servant.

When he wegstellt the bottles, he begins a few magic tricks to perform with a wooden plate. It can appear in them a living picture until his naughty maid comes back to him interfere, can the panel disappear. He chases them and they will disappear. In a mirror he continues his magic tricks, until he has to sell his servant again. With some wooden blocks he builds a small precursor of a television. Until this again spirited away by his servant.

She finally shows him how she can bring the flames of hell for annealing and also conjures his servants out again. With a very attractive maid, she manages to fool the devil and to steal him his magic utensils pitcher and his magic cloak.
