Sätra metro station

Sätra is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in the homonymous district Sätra. The station is owned by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system operated. It is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day here rise to 3,000 commuters and around.

The station was taken on May 16, 1965 as the 63rd station Tunnelbana in operation, as the portion of the Röda linjen was inaugurated between Örnsberg and Sätra. Until March 1, 1967, she was also the terminus of line T13, from then on, the trains on the newly built section to the next station Skärholmen. The platforms are located above ground in high position. The station is located between the stations Bredäng and Skärholmen. Stockholm Central Station is about 9.5 km.
