Satyrus was the name of several eminent men of antiquity:
- Satyrus, oligarchical politicians Athens at the end of the Peloponnesian War ( 431-404 BC)
- Satyrus I, ruler of the Bosporan kingdom of 433 /32 to 389/88 BC
- Satyrus II, ruler of the Bosporan kingdom of 311 /10 to 310/ 09 BC
- Satyrus ( architect), a Greek architect and sculptor of the 4th century BC, designed together with Pytheos the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus
- Satyrus (actor), actor of Greek comedy in the second half of the 4th century BC, teacher of the orator Demosthenes
- Satyrus ( biographer ), Greek biographer of the late 3rd century BC, wrote biographies of philosophers, orators, poets and statesmen
- Satyrus (Alexander priest), 203 /02 BC Alexander eponymous priest
- Satyrus ( epigrams ), Greek epigrams perhaps the 2nd century BC, five of his poems are preserved
