Saucats

Saucats is a commune in the Gironde department in the region of Aquitaine. The municipality is located in the catchment area of the city of Bordeaux, about 30 km south in the so-called Landes de Bordeaux. While Saucats in 1962 still had 550 inhabitants, is one you currently 2175 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

The municipality belongs to the canton of La Brède in the arrondissement of Bordeaux.

Saucats is a wine-growing village in the wine growing region of Graves.
