Saul Raisin

Saul Raisin ( born January 6, 1983 in Dalton, Georgia ) is an American professional road bicycle racer.

Saul Raisin began his professional career in 2005 at the French Pro Tem Crédit Agricole and remained there until 2008 under contract. Before he went for a year for the espoir ( U23 Men ) of Crédit Agricole. Raisin is considered to be a good climber. In Germany Tour 2005, the Americans showed strongly in the Alps and was ninth in the overall standings. At the Tour de Langkawi 2006, he was able to celebrate as a professional in the third stage its first victory.

On 4 April 2006 he fell in Saint- Mars -la- Jaille difficult at the first stage of the Circuit de la Sarthe ride and had to undergo surgery due to a cerebral hemorrhage in the hospital of Angers. He also had fractures to the head and collarbone. On April 6, he fell, then in danger of floating, into a coma from which he woke up until a week later. On August 8, 2006, he started training on the road again. After the 2007 season, Raisin will end his career on rates now but his doctors.
