Saurer 2 DM

The Saurer 2 DM is a truck model that established the Adolph Saurer AG from 1959. It is a right hand drive with a payload of 4.9 tons.

The Swiss army used him in 1964. Among other things, in several special versions, such as the dump trucks, snow plow or air tankers. Almost identical in design was the model 2VM of Berna. From 1964, about 3200 were built.

The 2 DM was also sold for civilian purposes.
