Sausheim

Sausheim (Alsatian Saise ) is a commune with 5463 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. The community is a member of the Mulhouse Alsace AgglomÃ.

The village is located on 230 m ü.d.M. and is connected to the A 35 and the A 36 to the motorway network. Today Sausheim is dominated by the textile and automotive industries (PSA Peugeot Citroen ).

History

A first mention there of the year in 1468. Sausheim was pulled by several wars affected, most recently by the Second World War. The exemption followed on 6 February 1945.
