Sava Šumanović

Šumanovic Sava (Serbian Cyrillic: Сава Шумановић; born January 22, 1896 in Vinkovci, † August 28 1942 in Sremska Mitrovica ) was a Yugoslav painter of the 20th century.

Sava Šumanovic lived and worked for some time in Paris and returned back to Serbia in 1930, where he lived in Sid. In August 1942, he was kidnapped with 150 other citizens of the Croatian police after Sremska Mitrovica and murdered there.
