Sävar River

The Sävarån is a river in the municipalities of Skellefteå, Vindeln and Umeå in Västerbotten County in northern Sweden.
The river has its source in the lake Lossmenträsket. From there it flows in a south-southeast direction mainly. It flows through the lakes and Storsävarträsket Lillsävarträsket, happening places Botsmark, Mark Bull and Sävar and ends after about 140 km at Skeppsvik, about 10 km east of the city of Umeå in the Sävarfjärden and in the Gulf of Bothnia.
