Savka House

The court Sawky (Ukrainian Хутір Савки / Chutir Sawky ) is a small, private, ethnographic open-air museum in the Ukrainian village of Novi Petriwzi 20 km north of Kiev.

The Museum

Theme of the museum is the country life of the 18th and 19th centuries. It consists of a conserved in situ homestead of a wealthy farmer in 1786 with forge and barn as well as a second translocated from Meleni Korostensky house. On the concept of the museum, it is one that visitors to participate in the economic life of the museum that collected by the museum owner and his son in the region Perejaslav Khmelnitsky museum items is not kept behind glass, but from the visitors, for example the manufacture of a freshly prepared meal can be used.
