Sawjion (Hebrew סַבְיוֹן ) is a town in Israel.

Location

Sawjion is located between Petach Tikva, Kiryat Ono and Yehud Israel. In December 2009, lived in Sawjion 3,000 people.

History

Sawjion was founded in 1955 for older immigrants from South Africa. Today in the town live younger population. 2004, the moshav Ganei Yehuda (Hebrew גַּנֵּי יְהוּדָה ) was incorporated into Sawjion.
