Sawang Arom District
Amphoe Sawang Arom ( Thai อำเภอ สว่างอารมณ์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Uthai Thani. The Uthai Thani Province is located in the northern region of Thailand.
Geography
Neighboring districts are ( from east clockwise): Amphoe Thap Than the Lan Sak and the Uthai Thani province, as well as Amphoe Lat Yao and Krok Phra in Nakhon Sawan province.
History
In 1963, Sawang Arom first as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established. Amphoe Thap Than He was subordinate.
Management
Amphoe Sawang Arom is divided into five subdistricts (tambon ), which are divided further into 64 villages ( Muban ).
There are three small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Sawang Arom ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สว่างอารมณ์ ) consists of parts of the tambon Sawang Arom.
- Sawang Chaeng Sabai Chai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สว่าง แจ้ง สบายใจ ) also consists of parts of the tambon Sawang Arom.
- Phluang Song Nang ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล พลวง สอง นาง ) consists of the whole tambon Phluang Song Nang.
There are also two " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
