Saxacalli

Saxacalli is a village on the western shore of Essequibos about 40 kilometers south of parika in Guyana. Saxacalli was originally an Arawak settlement. Today, it is home to around 250 inhabitants. Tourism is Saxacallis represents the main source of income, since the settlement has a known domestic beach. The settlement is not accessible by road and is not connected to the electricity grid.
