Saxon IX V

As a genus IX or IX, the Royal Saxon State Railways designated eight-coupled Tender locomotives for freight service.

History

The locomotives were put into service after the vehicles of the Saxon IV could not meet the expectations set for them. The vehicles were equipped with a Tender senders of types sa 3 T 9, T 12 3 sa or sa 3 T 13.
