Saybolt Universal Second

Saybolt Universal Second, abbreviated as SUS, was a unit of measure used by oil companies for the kinematic viscosity. The time is measured, which require 60 cc of oil to flow through a calibrated tube at a fixed and constant temperature. Instead they specify in seconds the numeric value is represented as SUS.

For measuring the viscosity, the Saybolt viscometer was used.
